The other day, Daniel Cohn-Bendit appeared on France Télévisions’ equivalent of Q&A (rather longer than Q&A at 2h 17m!) debating Alain Finkelkraut’s version of the ‘clash of civilisations’.
In this excerpt he gives the perfect response* to Finkelkraut’s assertion that it is inherently Western values such as the emancipation of women that inspires Islamist radicalisation.
